Parsi Point

Sydney Point

Sydney Point is renowned for offering beautiful views of the Krishna Valley, Kamalgad Fort, Dhom Dam, and the city of Wai. This tiny hillock overlooking the lush green Krishna Valley was named after Sir Sidney Beckwarth, who was Commander in Chief and senior member of the council. Sir Sidney Beckwarth temporarily succeeded Sir John Malcolm as the Governor of Bombay in 1830. The hillock also offers beautiful views of the hill ranges of Pandavgad and Mandhardeo.

Table Land

Table Land, with an elevation of 4,550 ft above sea level, is the highest point in Panchgani. Credited as Asia’s second longest mountain plateau, it is a vast expanse of flat laterite rock surrounded by hills. The 95 acres area of the attraction is beautifully carpeted with the tiny blue bonnet and star, along with other grasses that grow in the month of August and September. Apart from shielding the destination from strong winds and heavy rains, the place also offers an aerial view of the entire town and the valleys located nearby. The place also contains several avenues of entertainment like horse riding, merry go rounds, mini trains, food stalls and a couple of games counters.

Kates Point

Mahabaleshwar is a small town and a municipal council in Satara district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is a hill station located in the Sahyadri mountain range. With one of the few evergreen forests of India, it served as the summer capital of Bombay province during the British Raj.Located about 120 km (75 mi) southwest of Pune and 285 km (177 mi) from Mumbai, Mahabaleshwar is a vast plateau measuring 150 km2 (58 sq mi), bound by valleys on all sides. It reaches a height of 1,439 m (4,721 ft) at its highest peak above sea level, known as Wilson/Sunrise Point.

Veena Lake

Venna lake is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mahabaleshwar. Venna lake is man made lake and not a natural lake. Venna lake was constructed in 1942 by Chhatrapati Shri Appasaheb Maharaj (descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj). Surrounded by lush greenary, Venna lake has area of about 28 acres having periphery around 7-8 KM. The lake was constructed to cater the water needs for Mahabaleshwar City. In fact, the lake has 1-2 submerged Thirths (place of pilgrimage). On the banks of the lake is Chhatrapati Pratapsihn Garden.

Mapro Garden

It is a popular food processing plant cum strawberry cultivation place near Panchgani. Mapro Garden is just 8 km away from the popular Panchgani Hill Station on the way from Panchgani to Mahabaleshwar. It is well-known for their strawberry production farms and a chocolate factory. This place is very popular among tourists visiting Mahabaleshwar.
